The sponsor and I took Ben out last night. The course was to take us into the channel where strangely there was no wind so, rather than bobbing aroung in the dark with neither motor nor nav lights waiting for a ferry to bump into us we stayed with the breeze inshore and came home early.
Mikey's Galatea won the rum though so all was well.
We're getting good at the old sailing off and on our mooring in the marina now. Respect in the clubhouse!
That was a great night, Thelma went home early instead of crossing the line - (Skipper tired)good that Mike got the Rum, shame we couldn't join in and enjoy it. :))

Shemara is old but has good bones. Most of the work is in replacing corroded bits and pieces and prettying her up a little at a time. This blog might be of interest or it may not, mostly it is a record of work done and trips. It will be picture –heavy.
